Open day in Vannes

Feedback on the Open House Day organized by the Lycée St Joseph in Vannes on March 19

A vocational & technical high school
Common values
The Lycée Saint Joseph in Vannes is a technical vocational high school whose wood sector is the most important of the establishment and represents 10% of the workforce (about 950 students in total), namely: a wood constructor CAP, a professional carpenter and designer baccalaureate , a professional wood builder baccalaureate and a BTS SCBH.
At each level a service is provided by the students for a client.

It appeared to us during our visit that the Lycée's educational project corresponds to our own corporate values:

"Our establishment is a place of human formation in line with the Lasallian educational project.
By the consideration that we give to the person, we help him to realize that his successes and the taste for a job well done are a source of satisfaction.

By implementing collective actions, we encourage civic behavior, solidarity, respect and a spirit of openness.
Through a project-based pedagogy, we develop autonomy and a sense of responsibility, conducive to the pursuit of studies and access to employment. "
Oakbot present at the open house
The wood sector of this high school organized a day of presentation and demonstration of innovative equipment.

We had the opportunity to go and present the OAKBOT to them and introduce it to about 70 students as well as trainers.

Also note the presence of a representative from STEICO, CADWORK, ROTHOBLAAS, FESTOOL, HETTICH France, CAPTURE4CAD and TOPSOLID.

The students spent 30 minutes with us and were all able to program and perform two assemblies with the OAKBOT.

A beautiful day to celebrate the Patron Saint of all carpenters.

Thank you to the entire teaching team of Lycée Saint Joseph!
